Hi, I’m Lisa Isbell and I recently changed from a traditional career, selling traditional media (since 1994) to a non-traditional model that is becoming more common by the minute. I opened my own Internet business in 2007 while I was still working as an account executive for a magazine. As I explored how to market a business online I discovered inbound marketing. This is the blanket term for the marketing strategy employed using social media, search engine optimization, email marketing and a variety of other online content.
In recent years I have seen a lot of startling changes in the advertising arena, and have watched with fascination as new methods of marketing evolve. I’m finding that the vehicles are changing but the logic behind them is still relatively the same and I’ll be exploring them in depth with you here on this blog.
