It seems every time I turn around there is another seminar offering tidbits about how Social Media can help businesses sell more stuff. Most of them involve a fee and most of them just barely scratch the surface and won’t get you anywhere in actually marketing your business. Where better to find out the strengths and weaknesses of traditional media than traditional media. Last week I wrote a post about a study that shows the strength print continues to have in generating news. I also pointed out that it is no longer so strong as a marketing vehicle. The New York Times has given support to my premise.
